On 1st December we hosted the first Research Meeting for families affected with NiemannPick Type C Disease.
We are delighted to report that the meeting was successful, with over 20 delegates in attendance. Presentations were given by Dr Kristen Cardinal of Actelion, Dr Paul Gissen of Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Dr Simon Jones of Manchester Royal Children’s Hospital and Mrs Susan Green, Research Co-ordinator for the National Niemann-Pick Disease Foundation (USA) and parent of two NPC affected children.
