To do our bit for Niemann-Pick Awareness Week myself, Clare Bryan, Diana Roberts, John Granger and Ben Jowett, from Professional Standards Officer at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales decided to try and raise some money by taking part in a "Sponsored Calorie Burn". We set ourselves a calorie burning target for 3 sessions during the Awareness Week - each session being 45 minutes long. Our target was verified each day by a member of Bannatynes Gym.

By doing the sponsored calorie burn we are showing our love and support for Helen and Pete Carter, their son Josh and daughter Hollie, who has NPC, in the hope that one day they will find a cure to help Hollie live a long and happy life. We would like to thank all for their sponsorship and support for this special cause and for helping towards a better future for Hollie and others like her. The Calorie Burn was a great success, raising £512.00.
