Corporate Support

Corporate Partners

How can my company support the NPDG (UK)?
Wherever you work, you and your colleagues can help to make a real difference to the lives of those affected by Niemann-Pick disease.

Whether your company is large or small, there are many different ways you can get involved; you might want to encourage everyone in your workplace to raise funds for the NPDG (UK) or you might decide that you would like to set up a Payroll Giving Scheme. What ever you choose, we're here to help and support you.

Match Funding - Many of your staff may want to organise their own fundraising activities. You can help and encourage them, at minimal cost to the company, by match funding the income they raise.

Payroll Giving - Having a Payroll Giving Scheme.is one of the easiest ways for companies to demonstrate corporate social responsibility. It is also a great way for employees to give to their favourite cause all year round.

Charity of the Year -. Why not adopt the NPDG (UK) as your Charity of the Year and give your staff a focus for their fundraising efforts? This can boost staff morale and encourage team building whilst providing a way of generating positive media opportunities. We can work with you to organise employee fundraising activities and provide promotional items to help publicise their event.

Sponsorship - Each year we have a number of opportunities for corporate sponsorship, including information leaflets and materials for awareness, education and information; our annual conference and our newsletter.

Gifts in kind - Companies may like to support the Group by donating gifts in kind which can be used as raffle or auction prizes.

There is no way I can protect my lovely daughter from the disease.  I can only support her, her brother Robert and Mum Kait, and try to make her life as happy as possible....Read more

Ironman 2007 - It's all about the bike Ian BirchnallI stood in a throng of neoprene clad athletes, my heart pounding with nerves and anticipation of the long arduous day ahead. It was just before 7am on the sunny shore of Lake Zurich , and I was just about to participate along with over one thousand, nine hundred others in the 2007 Swiss Ironman....Read more

Why? You might ask… Well, the reason is Annie.
In July 2005, Norman and Kait Pyne’s daughter Annie, who was then 9 years old, was diagnosed with Niemann-Pick Type-C.  At that time and in the months since, the family have received help and support from the NPDG (UK).  To give something back and to help boost NPDG (UK)’s funds, Norman proposed a sponsored ride on a classic fundraising route from the bottom to the top of the UK mainland on a classic British bike....Read more
